Bhubaneswar: In a major step towards empowering farmers and economically weaker sections, the Odisha government has decided to strengthen the Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies (PACS) and Large Adivasi Multipurpose Cooperative Societies (LAMPCS) across the state. The initiative aims to boost financial assistance through cooperative mechanisms, ensuring better agricultural and economic opportunities.
₹76.80 Crore Allocated to Strengthen Cooperatives
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has approved a proposal to make these newly established cooperative societies more effective. Under this decision, each PACS and LAMPCS will receive ₹5 lakh as capital support, helping them function efficiently.
