Prayagraj: Uttar Pradesh's revolutionary revolution in rural water accessibility and sanitation will take place during the Mahakumbh 2025, a spiritual and cultural extravaganza that is expected to attract over 45 crore people from all over the world. The 'Swachh Sujal Gaon' (Clean and Water-Secure Villages) project, a key component of the Jal Jeevan Mission that has provided tap water to millions of homes throughout the state, especially in Bundelkhand, will be highlighted during the event. 

A Path of Hope: The Amazing Change in Bundelkhand 

Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's inspiring leadership, Bundelkhand, which was formerly a symbol of ongoing water shortage, has experienced a radical transformation. Prior to 2017, the area had acute water scarcity, which had an effect on everyday living, health, and business operations. With every home benefiting from tap water, Bundelkhand is a bright example of achievement today. 
"Solution to Drinking Water: New Identity of My Village," the topic for this year's display, honours Bundelkhand's inspirational history. In addition to being relatable to Uttar Pradesh, this success story acts as a model for water conservation initiatives throughout India. 

A 40,000-square-foot, Multilingual Digital Exhibition 

A large 40,000-square-foot pavilion at the Mahakumbh 2025 expo will highlight ground-breaking projects including gramme panchayat development, village solar energy adoption, PM Awas, and CM Awas. Information in Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, Hindi, and English will all be included in the exhibit to promote inclusion. 
Inspiring stories and interactive digital experiences about Uttar Pradesh's initiatives to attain sustainability and water security will captivate visitors. 

Encouraging Women and Communities: Actual Change Narratives 

The stories of Bundelkhandi rural women will be one of the event's centrepieces. Women will describe how having access to clean water has changed their lives in places like Banda, Jhansi, and Chitrakoot. Once beset by water difficulties, these towns now celebrate events like weddings that were previously unthinkable because of water scarcity. 
Women from Mahoba and Lalitpur will also discuss how the stress of getting water has been reduced, enhancing their health and freeing them up to concentrate on their education and employment prospects. 

A Spiritual Tribute to Water Conservation at Jal Mandir 

The Rural Water Supply and Namami Gange Department plans to build a "Jal Mandir" (Water Temple) in Mahakumbh to provide a spiritual element. This creative installation will represent water as a precious resource that has to be preserved by showing the holy Ganga pouring from Lord Shiva's hair. This message will be further spread through morning and nightly Jal Aarti rites, which combine spirituality and environmental consciousness.
