Prayagraj, January 18, 2025: In a groundbreaking initiative aimed at keeping millions of devotees informed, Akashvani has launched live Kumbhvani News Bulletins through the public address system in Mahakumbh Nagar, Prayagraj. At the large spiritual gathering, a new era of real-time information dissemination began today at 8:30 AM with the broadcast of the first bulletin.

Kumbhvani News Bulletins: A Trustworthy Information Source for Followers 

Real-time information about the Mahakumbh Mela, such as weather forecasts, crowd control updates, lost-and-found details, significant spiritual events, and important announcements, will be available through the Kumbhvani News Bulletins. To keep pilgrims informed during their visit, these bulletins will be broadcast three times a day for ten minutes each at 8:30 AM, 2:30 PM, and 8:30 PM. Devotees can also listen to the bulletins on Prayagraj's 103.5 MHz or access them by:

The Kumbhvani channel of Akashvani, dedicated to Mahakumbh 2025, was officially launched by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on January 10, 2025. Dr. L. Murugan, the Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, was also present at the virtual launch. 
To keep devotees in Prayagraj and throughout India informed of the most recent events at Mahakumbh, this channel will continue to air daily updates and special programs until February 26, 2025.
