Kolkata (8/1): (Reported by Sanatan Mahakud): The students of the Heritage School have excelled in the recent Inter-School Srimad Bhagwad Gita Chanting Competition organised by the Chinmaya Mission, Kolkata. With an impressive 11 students receiving prizes across different class groups. The prize distribution ceremony was held on 5th January at the Jyotirmaya Club, Kolkata.
The competition saw participation from 10 schools, and the Heritage School students demonstrated remarkable talent and dedication, earning trophies, certificates, and cash prizes.
The prize money for the top three positions was: 1st Prize: ₹3000, 2nd Prize: ₹2000, and 3rd Prize: ₹1000. The prize winners of the Heritage school were:
Dhanish Agarwal (Ankuran) - 3rd Prize,Avyukta Kartik and Viraj Agarwal (Classes 1 & 2) - 3rd Prize, Devansh Bihani - 1st Prize,Advika Kartik (Class 4) - 2nd Prize (Group C, Classes 3 & 4),Arabdh Jha - 1st Prize (Group D, Classes 5 & 6), Antareepa Panda, Kavya Khaitan, and Advik Luharuka - 2nd Prize (Group D, Classes 5 & 6), Aarna Jain - 3rd Prize (Group D, Classes 5 & 6) and Krishna Saraf - 2nd Prize (Group E, Classes 7-9).
This team was led by yoga and Indian culture teacher Ms. Ila Khanelwal. Principal of the Heritage School Ms. Seema Sapru said “We are incredibly proud of our students' achievements, and we wish them continued success in their future endeavours!.”
