Nayagarh: The ancient Trinath Temple in the Nayagarh district served as the venue for the 21st Smriti Charan Sabha, which honoured the memory of Forest Martyr Chandramani Nayak. Secretary Kishore Chandra Dalabehera and Convener Bikram Nayak oversaw the ceremony, which was organised by the Jungle Suraksha Mahasangh, a trailblazing group devoted to forest conservation. Mahasangh President Sarat Chandra Nayak presided over the occasion. 
Environmentalists, social workers, and Mahasangh officials gathered and vowed to continue the environmental preservation effort started by Chandramani Nayak and Shramik Yogi, the founder of the Mahasangh.
Through raising awareness throughout Odisha and even outside of India, Chandramani Nayak's efforts were crucial in turning Nayagarh into a centre for forest conservation.
