Daspalla: (Report- Subash Chandra Barik): The three-day Daspalla Youth Festival-Mahak came to a passionate close, celebrating Swami Vivekananda's principles. The event, which was organised by the Sitaram Youth Club and started on the 162nd anniversary of Swami Vivekananda's birth, brought together students, social workers, and dignitaries for a lavish celebration of cultural legacy and youth empowerment. 

An Opening Ceremony with a 400-Meter Tricolour Rally 

A huge 400-meter Tricolour March from the ancient Mahaveer Temple to the Mahak Ground marked the start of the celebration. Hundreds of young people marched patriotically while holding the national flag, encouraging the next generation to follow Swami Vivekananda's ideals. A significant number of students, social activists, and local MLA Ramesh Chandra Behera were among the dignitaries who attended the demonstration. 

Conversations on the Principles of Swami Vivekananda 

Numerous thought-provoking conversations that illuminated Swami Vivekananda's ideas, principles, and contributions to youth empowerment took place throughout the event. Prominent orators highlighted the relevance of his lessons in the present era and inspired young people to pursue his example of self-assurance, self-control, and societal duty. 

Honouring Excellence and Calling for Chhena Poda to Be Recognised by the State 

A lavish felicitation event marked the festival's end, honouring notable people and institutions that have made significant contributions to a range of areas. The chief guest, MLA Ramesh Chandra Behera, along with distinguished speakers like Engineer Debashish Pattnaik and District Council President Nayagarh, highlighted the cultural importance of Dashapalla’s famous sweet, Chhena Poda. They strongly advocated for its state-level recognition, acknowledging its unique identity in Odisha’s culinary heritage. 

The Grand Finale Is Marked With A Cultural Extravaganza 

Vibrant cultural events that highlighted Odisha's rich creative heritage marked the festival's conclusion. The evening was made more colourful with folk dances, musical numbers, and theatrical displays, which left everyone who attended with unforgettable memories. 
The Mahak Daspalla Youth Festival brought young people together, honouring the region's rich cultural legacy and disseminating Swami Vivekananda's eternal teachings. Future generations were inspired by the occasion, which strengthened the youth's sense of excellence, service, and patriotism.
