Daspalla: (Reported by Subash Chandra Barik): The district health officials of Nayagarh recently arranged a specialised training session for medical personnel at the Madhyakhanda Health Centre as a proactive measure to eradicate filariasis. The goal of this program is to get field-level employees ready for the Mass Drug Administration (MDA) campaign that will take place from February 10 to 19.
Group Health Officers, Primary Health Centre officials, and both male and female healthcare professionals actively participated in the training session. It placed a strong emphasis on giving the group the abilities and information needed to carry out the campaign effectively.
Under the direction of the Additional District Health Officer (Vector-Borne Diseases), district-level planning include coordinating awareness campaigns and working closely with block coordination committees. The goal of these programs is to make sure that all residents are aware of how crucial it is to take their medications as directed in order to stop filariasis from spreading.
