Girls Who Have Completed Age 21 Can Apply

Highlighting the scheme, the Deputy CM stated girls turning 21 this month should apply for this scheme. "This is a golden opportunity for young women to benefit from the scheme. Delays in applying could result in missed opportunities," she said during a press briefing on Thursday.
The Deputy CM stated that efforts are being made to resolve issues faced by rejected applicants. Many rejections were attributed to technical glitches and server-related problems during the application process. "We are dedicated to including all eligible women in the fourth phase of the first installment. Those initially rejected will now have their cases reviewed thoroughly," Parida emphasised.

Massive Reaction to the Plan

With more than 1.6 million applications filed so far, the Subhadra Yojana has gotten a response. Twenty-two percent of the 2.67 lakh applications that were initially denied have now benefitted from the third round. This illustrates the government's dedication to overcoming obstacles and contacting as many qualified recipients as feasible.

Identifying the Affected Districts

Districts with high rejection rates have been given priority for prompt response by the government. More petitions have been denied in the districts of Malkangiri, Gajapati, and Koraput. The verification procedure has already begun in Malkangiri, where a team led by the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) has been sent. "Districts with greater rejection rates or fewer applications are receiving further consideration. We want to remove the obstacles that candidates encounter by focusing on these areas," Parida said.

Effectiveness and Openness in Execution

The government's dedication to effectiveness and openness was reaffirmed by the Deputy CM. "We want to make sure that all qualified applicants get their benefits as soon as possible. In order to improve the scheme's effectiveness and accessibility, we are simplifying procedures," she continued. This month, the government expects a spike in applications from females who are newly eligible. In order to prevent technological difficulties and guarantee their inclusion in the following stage, beneficiaries are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
Under the Subhadra Yojana, the Odisha government is establishing a standard for proactive governance by tackling current issues and concentrating on underserved areas. Both stakeholders and beneficiaries anticipate that these actions will assist qualified candidates throughout the state in the long run.
