Anantapur: Young athletes with hearing impairments shown remarkable skill and unrelenting commitment as the IDCA U19 2nd T-20 National Cricket Championship for the Deaf came to a successful conclusion. The Indian Deaf Cricket Association (IDCA) hosted the championship at the RDT Stadium Cricket Ground in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, from November 25 to November 28, 2024.
The competition was a spectacular celebration of inclusivity and sportsmanship, with eight state teams vying for the coveted crown. U19 Deaf Odisha and U19 Deaf Haryana engaged in a fierce struggle in the grand finals, with Odisha emerging victorious.
In the finals, U19 Odisha's standout performance, Sanith Shetty, was named Man of the Match. He also won the coveted Player of the Series title for his exceptional play throughout the series. Other notable players were:
