Bhubaneswar:  Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha  released the +2 exam schedule for all streams. According to the formal announcement made public on Wednesday, the tests will start on February 18, 2025, and end on March 27, 2025. 

A Comprehensive Timetable for Every Stream 

On February 18, 2025, the exams for candidates in the regular and ex-regular science streams will start. Exams for regular and ex-regular students in the arts and commerce streams are set to begin on February 19, 2025. Exams for vocational studies will start a little later, on February 20, 2025. 

Key Dates for Internal Assessments and Practicals 

1. Internal Assessment Exams: Scheduled from December 23 to December 30, 2024. 
2. Practical Examinations: To be conducted from January 2 to January 12, 2025, for both regular and ex-regular candidates. 

The CHSE has clarified that all examinations—internal assessments, practicals, and theory—will be held as scheduled, even if any of the dates fall on a declared holiday. 

Guidelines for Project Evaluation in Commerce 

For commerce stream students, the council has introduced specific guidelines for project evaluation and viva-voce: 

• Students will be divided into groups of at least 24 members. 
• Group evaluation and viva-voce for each will be completed within two hours. 
• Both the evaluation and the viva-voce will be conducted by the institution's subject teacher. For this reason, no outside examiners will be present.
