Exam dates for the General Duty (GD) Constable Exam 2025 and the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 2 Exam 2024 have been released by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). The full schedule is now available for candidates to download from the official website, ssc.gov.in. 

Exam dates for GD Constable and SSC CGL Tier 2 

January 18, 19, 2025 are the dates for the SSC CGL Tier 2 test, and February 4–7, 8–13, 17–21, and 24–25, 2025 are the dates for the GD Constable test. To accommodate thousands of applicants, the tests will be administered at locations throughout the nation. 
Additionally, the commission has set December 6, 2024, as the date for the Grade 'C' Stenographer Limited Departmental Competitive Examination Skill Test. 

Details of the Recruitment 

SSC intends to use these hiring campaigns to fill 57,208 positions. This comprises: 

• 17,727 positions in the SSC CGL recruitment's Group B and Group C categories. 
• 39,481 GD Constable jobs, including employment in 
• Forces of Central Armed Police (CAPFs) 
• Force of Special Security (SSF) 
• In the Assam Rifles, Rifleman (GD)

Procedure for Selection 
Candidates will be chosen by SSC using a multi-step procedure: 

1. Written Exam: Applicants need to pass this initial test.
