She completed her Master’s in Mathematics at the prestigious Indira Gandhi Open University in Sarang. Alongside mathematics, Sonali nurtured a deep love for literature, which grew stronger during her college years at a self-funded institution in Anugul. It was here that she discovered her passion for writing, and soon her pen began crafting stories that resonated with her readers.

Sonali strongly believes that while established magazines often prioritize well-known writers, her magazine will provide an open platform to all writers, enhancing the appeal of Odia language among the youth.
