Banigochha: (Reported by Subas Chandra Barik): A successful Ayushman Arogya Sibira was conducted at the Ayushman Arogya Mandira of the Primary Health Centre (PHC), Banigochha. The medical camp, which aims to provide essential healthcare services to the local population, catered to a total of 114 patients across various departments. 

The camp was led by Dr. Biswaijit Naik, the Medical Officer of PHC Banigochha, alongside Ayush Medical Officer Dr. Kaliprasad Sarangi, Physiotherapist Dr. Rakesh Dash, and Pharmacist Prasad Kumar Dakuaa. Their combined expertise ensured the smooth and efficient execution of medical services during the one-day health camp.

Healthcare Services Provided 

During the camp, patients received a wide range of medical consultations and treatments. The services included general outpatient department (OPD) consultations, physiotherapy sessions, Ayush consultations, and essential health screenings.   1. General OPD Consultations: A total of 84 patients were attended to for general health concerns, receiving appropriate medical advice and prescriptions. 
  2. Ayush OPD: 30 patients benefited from traditional Ayush treatments, which focus on natural and holistic healing methods. 
  3. Physiotherapy Sessions: 15 patients underwent physiotherapy to treat musculoskeletal issues and injuries. 
  4. Pregnant Mothers: 4 expectant mothers were given specialized prenatal care and guidance on maternal health. 
  5. Blood Pressure Screening: 20 individuals were screened for hypertension, a critical step in preventing cardiovascular diseases. 
  6. Diabetic Screening: 17 patients underwent tests to detect and monitor diabetes, a growing concern in rural areas. 
  7. Laboratory Tests: 11 tests were conducted for various health conditions, further supporting the diagnosis and treatment plans.
