Kolkata: The Heritage School had the privilege of hosting the prestigious National Archery Competition 2024, an event organized by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi. This grand competition saw enthusiastic participation from 400 archers representing schools from across the country. Held from the 4th to 6th of September 2024, the event showcased remarkable talent in the sport of archery.
Two exceptional students from The Heritage School, both from class 11, made their mark by securing spots in the School Games Federation of India (SGFI) team. Arrush Chakraborty, competing in the Indian round under the U-19 category, and Snehansh Singh, excelling in the Compound round under the U-17 category, earned their selections through stellar performances.
This accomplishment reflects not only their individual dedication but also the school’s commitment to nurturing young talent in sports.
