In the 13th minute, Uttam Singh capitalized on a pass from Araijeet Singh Hundal, scoring the first goal for India. This set the tone for the game, with India continuing to dominate the play. 

Six minutes later, captain Harmanpreet Singh delivered his first goal from a penalty corner, extending India’s lead to 2-0. South Korea, although strong defensively, struggled to contain India’s relentless pressure.

The second half saw India maintaining their aggressive gameplay. In the 32nd minute, Jarmanpreet Singh added another goal, increasing India’s lead to 3-0. However, South Korea responded quickly, with Yang Jihun scoring from a penalty corner just a minute later, making it 3-1. 

Despite Korea’s attempt to close the gap, India remained in control. Harmanpreet Singh struck again in the 45th minute, converting yet another penalty corner to solidify India’s lead at 4-1.

Meanwhile, South Korea will compete for third place against Pakistan, and Japan claimed fifth place by defeating Malaysia 4-2 in a shoot-out after a 4-4 draw.
