Who Can Apply for Subhadra Yojana?

The government has clarified that Anganwadi workers, helpers, ASHA workers, and Community Resource Persons (CRP) are eligible to apply for the Subhadra Yojana. Furthermore, women appointed by outsourcing agencies, such as Master Bookkeepers (MBKs), are also encouraged to apply for this scheme. The Subhadra Yojana thus covers a broad spectrum of women engaged in various community services, giving them the opportunity to achieve financial stability.

Application Process: Offline and Online Options

To ensure easy access to the scheme, the state government has introduced both offline and online methods for application. For those who prefer the offline process, application forms can be obtained from Anganwadi Centres, Block Offices, Mo Seva Kendras, and Jan Seva Kendras. Applicants must fill out these forms and submit the necessary certificates at these centres.

Alternatively, the Subhadra Portal offers a seamless online application process. Applicants can fill out the form online and upload all the required certificates directly on the portal. The option to apply through both offline and online modes ensures that women from all walks of life, regardless of their technological proficiency, can benefit from the scheme.

Financial Assistance Under the Subhadra Yojana

The Subhadra Yojana provides eligible beneficiaries with substantial financial assistance. Under the Subhadra Scheme, eligible women will receive a financial benefit of ₹5,000 annually on Raksha Bandhan and International Women’s Day (March 8). Each qualified woman will receive ₹10,000 annually. Over a period of five years, the total amount received will be ₹50,000. This financial aid is expected to play a crucial role in helping women achieve economic independence and provide better opportunities for themselves and their families.

BJP Government's SOP and Guidelines

The Subhadra Yojana was initially structured under the leadership of BJP’s Mohan Majhi. The government had previously issued the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and guidelines for the scheme. According to the new announcement, the Subhadra Yojana will continue to prioritize the eligibility criteria outlined in the previous guidelines. This ensures that only those women who meet the defined standards can benefit from the scheme.

Toll-Free Helpline for Assistance

In a bid to provide comprehensive support to applicants, the Women and Child Development Department has launched a toll-free helpline number—14678. This helpline will be operational from 6 AM to 10 PM, ensuring that applicants can get their queries addressed without any hassles. This step is intended to make the application process smooth and trouble-free for the women who are applying for the Subhadra Yojana.
