This fast-paced challenge tested their ability to quickly and accurately perform mental calculations. The students' impressive performance in this segment was evident as 14 students from Nayagarh UCMAS were awarded for their outstanding results.
In the "Auditory" competition, participants had to solve problems that were read out loud to them. This segment not only tested their arithmetic skills but also their listening and concentration abilities. Among the Nayagarh UCMAS participants, one student stood out by receiving an award, while two others achieved the prestigious gold medals and one secured a silver medal.
The final segment of the competition was the "Flashcard" challenge, where students had to solve problems presented on flashcards. This required quick thinking and a sharp memory. In this segment, two students from Nayagarh UCMAS were awarded, with both receiving gold medals for their exceptional performance.
The awards ceremony took place the following day, on July 14, at the Rail Auditorium in Bhubaneswar. It was a moment of pride and joy for the students, their families, and their dedicated teacher, Pramod Kumar.
