CISCE Regional Yoga Competition 2024: The Heritage School Shines with Multiple Trophies

The CISCE Regional Yoga Competition 2024 for Girls took place at Agrasen Balika Shiksha Sadan on the 1st and 2nd of August 2024. This event brought together young yoginis from various schools to showcase their yoga skills and compete for top honours.

From The Heritage School, fifteen girls participated in the competition across three categories: Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19. These students displayed remarkable dedication and skill, representing their school with pride. 

In the Traditional Group Yoga event, The Heritage School emerged victorious by winning the 1st Runners Up Trophy in both the Under-17 and Under-19 categories. This achievement is a testament to the hard work and teamwork of the participants, who spent countless hours practicing and perfecting their routines. 

One of the standout performers was Niharika Baid, a student of class 8. She excelled in the Rhythmic Yoga event in the Under-17 category, securing the 2nd Runner-up position. Niharika's performance was particularly impressive as she demonstrated grace, flexibility, and synchronization with the music, which are key elements in Rhythmic Yoga. 

The event was filled with excitement and anticipation as participants from different schools competed in various yoga styles. Judges evaluated the participants based on their technique, balance, flexibility, and overall presentation. Each performance was met with applause and admiration from the audience, which included students, teachers, and parents.
