BJP Holds Banigochha Mandal Meeting to Strengthen Local Development Efforts

Daspalla: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) recently conducted a significant meeting at Banigochha Mandal under the leadership of Kishore Chandra Dalbehera, the Mandal President. The focus of the meeting was to strengthen the party's organizational structure and to ensure that the benefits of the "Double Engine Government," both at the state and central levels, reach the people effectively. 

During the meeting, several key issues related to local development were discussed. The participants emphasized the importance of taking central and state government schemes, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the state government, to every corner of the region. They also highlighted various challenges faced by the local population, particularly in the areas of infrastructure, health, and education. 

Key Issues Discussed: 

• Mobile Tower Installation: The meeting emphasized the need for mobile towers in several villages, including Nuagaon, Dolamundei, Minagadu, Gochabari, and Abhaypur. In particular, there is a pressing demand for new towers in Duda and Chinapaha Rakaiya Diha. 
• Healthcare Services: The attendees called for the filling of vacant doctor and staff positions in all local medical facilities. They also requested the provision of 108 ambulance services to Nuagaon and Chadheya Palli Medical Centres, and a 30 beds doctor’s chamber at the Banigochha Medical Centre. 
• Educational Facilities: The meeting proposed the appointment of teachers in all schools and upgrading the Nuagaon Ashram School to a high school. Additionally, they requested the construction of buildings for all Anganwadi centers and the establishment of a police outpost in either Nuagaon or Chadheya Palli. 
• Road Infrastructure: The participants discussed several road development projects, including the inclusion of roads from Nuagaon to Bhagabadi Bijulibandh, Minagadu Chakapaju, and others under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY). They also requested the improvement of connectivity in areas such as Kanipokhari, Dhudgadaia, Gunuduri Sahi, and Usasingi. 
• Bank Establishment: The meeting stressed the need for bank branches in areas like Kalasa Khman, Duda Kujmendi, Kularukumpa, and Pokhari Gocha to provide financial services to the local population. 
• Electricity Supply: There was a unanimous request for a consistent power supply, as locals have been facing frequent power outages, sometimes lasting up to 15 days. The participants also urged for the subdivision of Dashapalla and improved electricity management. 
• Water Supply and Irrigation: Farmers in the region requested better irrigation facilities to support their agricultural activities. 
• Security and Heritage: The attendees proposed enhanced security at Daspalla, along with the construction of memorials for local martyrs and tribal heroes. 
• Civic Issues: A cleanliness drive was conducted after the meeting, led by BJP workers, who actively participated in the Swachhta Abhiyan to promote hygiene and sanitation. 

The meeting concluded with a call to the Kandhamal MP, Sukanta Kumar Panigrahi, to address these issues and to ensure that both state and central governments take swift action. The party workers also committed to further promoting the development initiatives of the BJP and ensuring that the benefits reach the grassroots level. 

The gathering saw active participation from prominent figures including Basant Kumar Muduli, the General Secretary, Prasan Karna, Vice President, and various Panchayat leaders and party workers from the region. 

Through this meeting, the BJP has reaffirmed its commitment to addressing local issues and ensuring that the promises of the Double Engine Government are realized at the grassroots level.
