BJP Conducts Mandal-Level Membership Drive in Banigochha, Daspalla

Banigochha: 30/08/2024: (Reported by Subash Chandra Barik): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a significant mandal-level membership drive at the Falpaju Communication Office premises under Banigochha police station in Daspalla block. The event aimed to strengthen the party’s presence at the grassroots level and saw active participation from senior party workers and leaders. 

Held on 30th August, 2024 the program brought together senior leaders and key members from the seven Gram Panchayats of Daspalla's western region. Former MLA and veteran BJP leader, Purnachandra Nayak, took the opportunity to criticize 25 years of the BJD's rule, condemning the policies and governance under the BJD's leadership. Addressing the gathering, Nayak emphasized the party's commitment to development, urging BJP workers to take a leading role in ensuring progress at the local level.

Nayak highlighted the growth of BJP membership, stating that the party has now reached a milestone of 50 lakh members. He confidently mentioned that BJP is working towards increasing its membership to 1 crore, with a plea for active participation from all leaders and workers. Nayak's vision reflected the party's aim to expand its reach and influence across the region. He also mentioned that BJP currently governs with 78 MLAs and expressed optimism about future electoral success. 

The membership drive is set to continue until the end of August, with a target to enroll as many new members as possible. Nayak encouraged all party officials, in-charges, mandal-level leaders, and panchayat-level workers to give their best efforts to ensure the success of the drive. The focus, according to him, should be on connecting with the community and promoting the development agenda of the BJP.

The event witnessed the presence of several prominent BJP leaders and hundreds of party workers. Among those in attendance were Mandal President Kishore Dalbehera, Pradeep Nayak, Gokul Nayak, and Narendra Behera, along with many others. Their participation reflected the united efforts of the party to enhance its membership and visibility in the region. 

As the drive progresses, the BJP remains focused on strengthening its grassroots network, aiming to build a solid foundation ahead of upcoming elections. The enthusiasm and commitment demonstrated during this event set the tone for a vigorous campaign that aligns with the party's broader vision of growth and development.
