Prayagraj: On 22nd and 23rd July 2024, a group of enthusiastic students from Government Inter College, Prayagraj, and Kendriya Vidyalaya Bamrauli had an exciting and educational experience at the Heritage Museum of the Central Air Command (CAC) in Prayagraj. This visit was organized in coordination with the civil administration of Prayagraj to encourage and create awareness among the youth about the rich history and significant contributions of the Indian Air Force (IAF).

The Heritage Museum at CAC is a treasure trove of history, showcasing the legacy of the Indian Air Force and its Central Air Command. As the students walked through the museum, they were mesmerized by the array of vintage aircraft, missiles, and weapons on display. These artefacts have played crucial roles in various operations over the years, making the museum a window into the past glory of the IAF.

The students had the opportunity to see up close some of the vintage aircraft that had been used in historic missions. They learned about the different types of planes, their features, and how they were used in the defense of the nation. The guided tour provided them with detailed information about the operational capabilities of the IAF, both during times of peace and war. This included the role of the Air Force in safeguarding the country, conducting surveillance, and participating in search and rescue operations, as well as disaster relief missions.
