Scholarship Description
Pradyumna Bal Memorial Scholarship Provides completely free education to two poor and meritorious students each year. Covers college fees, hostel fees, mess, books, and other expenses.
KIIT Poverty-Cum-Merit Scholarship For poor and needy students. The amount and period are based on the need of the selected candidates.
Teaching Assistantship For M.Tech students to earn while learning. They assist in teaching/research and gain experience.
KIIT Merit Scholarship 5000 INR – 10000 INR per month for 1st position holders in semester exams for 6 months.
KIITEE Topper Scholarships Free education for the topper of KIITEE-2020 if admitted for B.Tech. Scholarships for top 1000 rank holders of KIITEE-2020 (B.Tech).
KIIT International Scholarship Full and half tuition fee waivers for international students. 2 full and 10 half waivers per country. 100 scholarships available.
PhD Scholarship 20000 INR per month for full-time PhD students.
Contingency Fund 50000 INR for full-time PhD and M.Tech students.
Stipends for Medical Students
  • MD, MS, MDS: 49000, 51000, 53000 INR per month for 1st, 2nd, 3rd year respectively.
  • MCh, DM: 58000 INR per month.
  • MBBS and BDS internships: 20000 INR per month.
  • MSc in Nursing and General Nursing and Midwifery: 6000 INR per month.

Pradyumna Bal Memorial Scholarship


Named after Late Pradyumna Kishore Bal, the Founder President of KIIT, this scholarship provides completely free education to two deserving students each year. This includes college fees, hostel fees, mess charges, books, and other necessary expenses. The selection committee’s decision is final in choosing the recipients.


KIIT Poverty-Cum-Merit Scholarship


For students who are both poor and talented, KIIT offers the Poverty-Cum-Merit Scholarship. The amount and duration of this scholarship depend on the needs of the selected students. The selection committee’s decision is final.


Teaching Assistantship


This program is designed for M.Tech students who want to earn while learning. They can assist in teaching and research, gaining valuable experience and an income. The number of assistantships available is flexible and managed by the university.


KIIT Merit Scholarship


First position holders in semester exams from different schools within the university can receive a scholarship ranging from 5000 INR to 10000 INR per month for six months.


KIITEE Topper Scholarships


The topper of KIITEE-2020, if admitted to KIIT for a B.Tech course, receives free education. Additionally, the top 1000 rank holders in KIITEE-2020 (B.Tech) are eligible for scholarships during their study period at KIIT, provided they meet certain criteria.


KIIT International Scholarship


For international students, KIIT offers full and half tuition fee waivers. Two students from each country receive full waivers, while ten students from each country receive half waivers. A total of 100 scholarships are available. More details can be found on the KIIT international website.


PhD Scholarship


Full-time PhD students at KIIT receive a scholarship of 20000 INR per month.


Contingency Fund


Full-time PhD and M.Tech students have access to a contingency fund of 50000 INR.


Stipends for Medical Students


  1. Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS), and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS): 49000, 51000, and 53000 INR per month for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd years, respectively.
  2. Magister Chirugial (MCh) and Doctorate of Medicine (DM): 58000 INR per month.
  3. MBBS and BDS internships: 20000 INR per month.
  4. MSc in Nursing and General Nursing and Midwifery: 6000 INR per month.
