Cluster Meeting in Odagaon Focuses on Educational Programs and Cyber Security

Odagaon, 20/07: The all Shiksha Office in Nayagarh held a significant cluster meeting today as part of the Odisha Primary Education Programme Authority’s directives. The meeting took place at Janata Government High School, Kurumabanktara, under the supervision of Cluster Coordinator Yashobanta Pattnaik, involving educators from the Mashabari Cluster of Odagaon Block. 

The event began with an inauguration by the head teacher of the host school, Jagadish Mishra. He was joined by senior teacher Bansidhar Pal and head teacher Prafulla Kumar Panigrahi, both of whom played important roles in the event. Head teachers and assistant teachers from twelve schools in the cluster participated, making the meeting a significant gathering of educational professionals. 

Throughout the meeting, there were detailed discussions on various important topics. A key focus was the successful implementation of several educational programs initiated by the government. These programs aim to improve the quality of education and ensure that all children have access to learning opportunities. 

One of the highlights of the meeting was the discussion about the celebration of Education Week. This event is crucial for promoting the importance of education among students, parents, and the community. Teachers shared ideas on how to make the week more engaging and beneficial for students. 

Another vital topic covered was the school environment. Teachers discussed ways to create a positive and supportive environment for students. This includes maintaining clean and safe school premises, encouraging good behavior, and fostering a sense of belonging among students. 

Students' health was also a significant point of discussion. The teachers emphasized the importance of regular health check-ups and creating awareness about healthy habits. They discussed ways to ensure students have access to clean drinking water and nutritious food. 

Cyber security, a growing concern in today’s digital age, was another important topic. Teachers talked about the need to educate students on safe internet practices. This includes understanding the risks of sharing personal information online and recognizing cyber threats. 

The meeting concluded with head teachers Bhabagrahi Mohapatra and Ranjit Kumar Mohapatra expressing their views on the discussions. They extended their thanks to all the participants for their active involvement and constructive ideas. 

Overall, the cluster meeting was a productive and informative session. It provided a platform for teachers to share their experiences, learn from each other, and discuss ways to enhance the educational experience for students in the Odagaon Block.
