Daspalla: (Reported by Subash Chandra Barik): On 26th July, the Boudh District Press Club celebrated its 7th foundation day with a grand ceremony held at the Boudh District Town Hall. The event saw the recognition and honoring of journalists from the Digital Media Association Dashpalla for their commendable work in unbiased news reporting. 

The ceremony was presided over by the president of the District Press Club, Saroj Kumar Behera. The event had distinguished guests, including Boudh District Collector J. Sonal and Superintendent of Police Raja Prasad. Dr. Rajaram Satapathy, who was the keynote speaker, delivered an inspiring speech. The executive president of the Press Club, Pradosh Mishra, and editor Raghunath Shadangi were also present, adding to the importance of the occasion. 

In his opening speech, Saroj Kumar Behera praised the efforts of the journalists from the Digital Media Association Dashpalla. He highlighted their commitment to delivering accurate and impartial news, which has played a significant role in keeping the public informed. The District Collector, J. Sonal, also appreciated the journalists' dedication and emphasized the crucial role of the media in a democratic society. He encouraged them to continue their good work and to always uphold the truth. 

Superintendent of Police Raja Prasad shared his thoughts on the importance of responsible journalism, especially in today’s digital age where misinformation can spread rapidly. He congratulated the honored journalists and urged them to maintain their integrity and dedication to factual reporting. 

The keynote speaker, Dr. Rajaram Satapathy, delivered an insightful address on the evolution of media and its impact on society. He spoke about the challenges faced by journalists in the digital era and the need for continuous adaptation to new technologies while maintaining ethical standards.
